Here is the screen shot. I have tried many times to "allow app", and AVG says it will always allow it, but the next time I try, same problem.
I have a safe application I have often used in the past (Pdf-to-Music Pro). Since I installed AVG Ultimate whenever I try to open a file with it, AVG blocks it, saying it's trying to access a sensitive file. I say Allow App, but then the app says the file is infected. I have tried with 10 different files, and AVG keeps blocking the app. NONE OF THESE FILES ARE INFECTED, AVG scan says all are OK. Why does it keep trying to block the same app again and again??
GRRR!
I have added it as an exception, and I STILL have the same problem, same AVG screen. If I try to report an exception it asks me to upload a file. What file? I can't upload the application!
We are glad to know that the issue has been resolved.
Let us know, if you need further help.
We are sorry for the confusion.
We request you to click on the "allow app" option in the popup.
You can also allow the application by following the below steps:
Open the AVG program -> Menu -> Settings ->General -> Blocked and Allowed apps -> Allow app
We also request you to ignore the false positive form which was recommended by our previous technician.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience that you have experienced.
Keep us posted.
Alan, we're sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Please note that this is not a threat detection pop up. You have classified the PDF files on your PC as sensitive documents. When you mark a document as sensitive, Sensitive Data Shield in AVG Internet Security secures it by controlling which applications and users have access to your files.
You should manually add the PdfToMusic app to allowed apps list in AVG Internet Security settings to resolve this issue.
