Hello Sam,
Could you please let us know whether you are facing the issues while running the AVG Command line scanner or while running the program on the safe mode? If so please check whether you have installed the latest version of the AVG program, If not please run the  AVG remover tool : http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to completely uninstall your previous installation of AVG program from your PC. Once uninstalled download the installation file using the link : http://www.avg.com/us-en/download to reinstall your AVG program. Please feel free to contact us for further assistance.

Running avgscana.exe and keep getting about 100 odd lines of various files stating error code 0xc0070780. Does any one know what this relates too as scan showed about 5 malware before showing the 100 lines of this error.

Hello Kishore,
I have similar result of scanning - it had beeen performed in safe mode - is there any difference according to your advice to Sam ?  I am using free version and for a time I'd like to keep this status.

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall AVG free using AVG remover tool as suggested by ""Kishore"" in our previous post?
