AVG is honestly being as annoying as any virus right now. Every few minutes a warning window pop ups over whatever I'm doing indicating malware has been detected and stopped. I've clicked "run scan" a dozen times--it never reveals anything that needs resolution. But then a few minutes later, the window pops up again. I've tried simply leaving it open in the background rather than closing it out, but then it just returns with a message to close however many warning windows I have open. I can't focus on my work because AVG keeps interrupting. I've run every scan--and everything it claims to find just requires me to spend MORE money to add some new layer of protection... and now matter how many layers I've purchased, the same damned window pops open every few minutes.
I've cleared browsing and internet history, too. That didn't fix anything.
