Samsung Smart View on laptop blocked by AVG

We're glad to help you with modifying firewall settings in the latest version, Pavel. To do so : Open AVG - Menu - Settings - Full Protection - Enhanced Firewall - System rules - Allow 'Windows File & Printer sharing, remote desktop connections' 
If you still experience issue in modifying the settings, you can revert to the older settings by : Opening AVG - Menu - Settings - General - Troubleshooting - Scroll down to find 'Open old settings'

Did you configure the Firewall settings as per the recommendation?

- Please open AVG Internet Security icon - Click Menu - Click Settings - Click Components - Scroll down to Firewall - Click Customize.
- Enable the "Internet connection sharing mode" and "Allow all connections with Friends when in Private mode"
- Click on System Rules - Enable the "Allow File and Printer sharing" and "Allow remote desktop connections to this computer" - Click OK to confirm it. Please make sure all the tasks are enabled.
- Click on "Network profiles" - Change all the Networks to "Private" - Click OK to confirm it.

Check the status and keep us informed here.

I have added the Samsung Smart View folder in Windows as an excelption to components behaviours but AVG still blocks the program. With AVG disabled I can stream to my Samsung TV from my laptop with no issues.

Are there other exceptions that need to be added?

I was problem with update to ULTIMATE version 2019. I uninstal old ULTIMATE and made NEW instalation (19.4.3089 (sestavení 19.4.4318.491)). There is another (new) structure of configure and I can not find the same line as is wrote upper.
Can you tell me, where I need make new change?

There is a problem with language mutation, because in czech version there is not "Click Customize" 
I cannot find nowhere "Allow all connections with Friends when in Private mode" because in czech version name is another I do not know how it is named. 
I try switch to English language, but I cannot find where to switch???
New instalation is stil Czech, buton "česky" (right up corner) does not respond when I click on it. Language version cannot be switched to English :(

I feel I will have to disable AVG completely when streaming to TV :frowning:

I have the same problem. 
Deactivate firewall - Samsung Smart View - establish connection - play the movie - firewall on - Samsung Smart View lost connection but movie still roll on tv - why?

I request you to change AVG Firewall network profile to private (open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > components > firewall > customize > network profile > change all the network public to private), please go to Firewall customize settings again > scroll down > click on system rules > enable all the system rules if it's not configured, please click OK and check if you can access TV with enabled AVG Internet Security.
