I am sorry to hear this. Please disable AVG Internet Security unlimited as mentioned in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-use-Passive-Mode and check if those applications works fine.

Since loading AVG I CAN NO LONGER GET EITHER MY GARMIN CAR SAT NAV OR MY GOLFBUDDY GOLF SAT NAV TO RUN, KEEP GETTING RUN TIME ERRORS ?
