Saving and deleting created documents

I have disabled AVG Antivirus and was able to create, delete and save documents. Another problem I have while AVG is installed is that I am unable to access Google Chrome. This is possible when AVG is disabled.
The problem clearly lies with AVG Antivirus. What is the solution to the problem, please?

Since downloading AVG Virus protection (paid) I am unable to save my created documents, delete documents, save changes to documents.
Keeps telling me that I need to have administrator rights to do anything.
How can I overcome this problem, please?

Thank you for following the instructions provided before.
Please update your AVG Internet Security program and check whether the issue persists.
Open AVG Internet Security dashboard and click on "Menu–>Settings–>Update" and click on Program Update to complete the process.
Keep us informed about the status.

I have gone through the process you suggested and am still not able to save, change or delete documents and I cannot access Google Chrome. Getting frutrated.

I have done this and it has not solved the problem. It says it is already up to date.

Thank you for informing that you have tried provided steps already.
In this case, I request you to get our additional support in resolving this issue for which an email instruction has been sent.

Hello Leigh,

I am sorry to know that. If the prompt appears from AVG then it should be the issue with AVG.
If it is from windows then it should relate to windows administrator settings.
Please disable AVG Antivirus temporarily as mentioned in this article: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-use-Passive-Mode and check whether the issue persists.

Thank you for the information Leigh,
I request you to change AVG Firewall network profile to private (open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > components > firewall > customize > network profile > change all the network public to private), please go to Firewall customize settings again > scroll down > click on system rules > enable all the system rules if it's not configured, please click OK and check if you can access all the websites, create document, save, changes to documents etc with enabled AVG Internet Security.
Best regards,
Alok.
