Hello David,
I understand the inconvenience caused, let's work together to fix this issue.
May I know the AVG Internet Security version (open AVG Internet Security > Menu > about) you have installed on your computer and yes you can provide the screenshots here on your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Best regards,
Alok.
after version/build 3040 was released, I've noticed a problem with the last scan date not being updated correctly - for most scans. The Computer scan button does seem to update the date scanned.
I have a weekly scan defined and scheduled: it hasn't updated the date after a successful scan in 6 months. Last week I tried the computer scan button - did not seem to have any spec and by observation did not cover as much or run as long, but it updated the date.
To illustrate, I have 3 images of the scan that's just completed: the scan definition (rootkits and all hdd), result, and AVG page showing no scan date update after completion. These are jpg's on my local PC - not a web server, thus no url available. So,
1. How do I attach images from a local picture to these queries?
2. Why is AVG not updating the last computer scan date after a comprehensive scheduled scan?
Hello David,
Thank you for providing the screenshots.
In the current release, AVG User Interface will update the “Last scan run” status only if you press "Scan Computer" floating button on the main interface and not for any other scans like Quick scan, Deep scan and full computer scan or scheduled scan. I would request you to click on the Scan computer button and then check the status.
You can also submit a feedback form regarding this scan update to our developers directly by navigating to AVG >> Menu >> About >> Submit Feedback.
David,
I completely understand your concern. You won't receive any reply after submitting the feedback but our developers will check your feedback and work on it. That issue will be fixed and released via update. I appreciate your patience in this matter.
