Hello Chris,

I am sorry to hear that. Please open the AVG AntiVirus free program and click on settings icon next to "Scan now". And from the scan window, select "Whole Computer Scan", this will run the virus scan in your computer.

I have a free AVG. When I try to run a scan to check for viruses, I get a maintenance scan which does not appear to give me a virus check. Please could you advise me why I am not  getting a virus scan.
