Scan History: Did Threat Icon Change?

Hi Marcus.
We'd be glad to clarify this.
Please click 'Answer', click Image icon (Mountain symbol) and follow the on screen instructions to upload the screenshot here.

I did just "submit a feedback" I am not going over this all over again from the feedback Digalog Box THAT DOESN'T REPLY!!! ...EVER REPLY!!!

It is decieving!! When a user has a lot of detections going on in Scans almost daily HOW CAN THEY FIND THEM AS EASILY?? AND KNOW THE DIFFERENCE?? Plain and simple mate...pass it up the AVG line cos the buck stopped HERE!

Thanks for your participation!!

Hello Marcus,

Thanks for writing and I’m Andre from AVG Senior Support. Because this icon is something that is new, I originally suspected it might be because a USB was also being scanned. Secondly, I thought there seemed to be an issue with backward compatibility and I thought that the red warning was shown because of: scanVerdict: "error"

However, I reached out to my colleagues who wrote me that this does not look like a backward compatibility issue but desired behavior. This is a special case (we did not expect to occur often), when there was an error in scanning files (scanVerdict=error) but no threats were found – the icon should indicate that something went wrong (not a threat issue in this case). So, if you don’t have any notifications of malicious objects, then your PC is fine. I hope this clarifies things and I you need something else, please let us know.

Regards, Andre

This screenshot shows what the two infections are and how they were dealt with BUT note the exlamation chnaged to TICKED ...it's ONLY in this dialog box but doesn't register with the History List...should I expect to see a threat /alert/error/excalmation mark or a TICK in the SCan History List if the Threat was dealt with?

Redacted Details of two infections with TICKED Action Icon

Do YOU SEE this is VERY CONFUSING and could be seen as DECEPTIVE??

I have noticed that the Icon for each scan has changed, each icon now shows a red "!" exclamation mark over them. I read the AVG instructions and viewed AVG's screenshots and the two are not the same. I have a screenshot to demonstrate, can you please allow me "Image upload"?

Marcus, when the version was released, few customers reported the same concern.
We kindly request you to submit a feedback as intructed earlier.
We will check this with our senior team and get back to you.
Your patience is much appreciated.

Hurry up! Someone in your team should have successfully duplicated this by now...this is childs play!!

I'm waiting while you figure this out meanwhile a hacker is getting away with a crime...lnow et's roll!!

Is this what everyone else see when they open their Scan History or NOT??

Yes, each one tells the user time scan was run, how long scan took to rreun...bytes scan..everything about that scedauled scan as you know. But I see that it's useless when identifying a treat in the list...there's no clear indication or all of it is indicative...which one is it? See what I mean? It's very confusing to have it look that way. I just rrealised there were two infections caught in the net over night but the Scan History can't tell me that at a glance but why...it simply makes every scan look like a alert/threat?

This isn't a good look is it?

Marcus, I realize your concern with the appearance of list on "scan history".
You can submit this as a feedback from "Menu->About->Submit Feedback" of AVG Internet Security program.
May I know what type of schedule scan you have set?
Is it 'file or folder' 'Deep Scan'?
