Hello Jerry,
We regret to hear about the inconvenience caused. Due to the arrival of new threats and infections, we have updated our AVG security program with high new security patches and updates to enhance the computer security.
The older version virus definitions were not up to date and you wont be able to have the complete protection without new updates. The new updates will be available only for AVG 2017 versions.
The newer version doesn't have an option to view the scan history from the Interface. You will be able to view the scan results once the scan is completed. You can view the Virus vault/Quarantine by clicking on the Menu from the AVG Antivirus free window -> Quarantine.
We suggest you to send your valuable feedback to our developers who are working on it to improve the features of AVG in the link:

So that they can work on it and implement in future updates of AVG.
Thank you.
Hello –
Thanks for the return.
My version is 17.4.3014. Is that the 2017 version? If not, will my AVG be updated automatically to the 2017 release?
Another question:
My brother and I both have the free version of AVG. And we both schedule our scans. However, our schedule scans do not work and we must manual scan. Can you comment?

I recently downloaded the free version of AVG anti-virus. I noticed the home page had changed from what I was using before.
- Where do I find the scan history and results?
- Where is the Virus Vault?
- Where is the Resident Shield history and listings?

Hello Akash -
With your reply, I can assume the schedule scan issue is not with my computer. Also, I would hope that when the fix is done, my AVG scheduled scan will automatically start working and I will not have to do anything on my end. If not, please let me know.
Thanks,
Jerry
