Hello Roger,
Thank you for the information. Please be informed that from the recent update, the AVG icon at the system tray have changed. From the system tray icon, you can only open the AVG program and iniitate scan. If you need to do any changes, you need to open the AVG Interface and perform the changes.
Thank you.
Hello Roger,
We do understand your concern. The scan progress can be checked by opening the scan window of AVG and pause/stop functions can be done from the same window.
Thank you.

I noticed that change, but how can I determine if a scan is in progress if it no longer indicates it on the AVG icon? Also, what about quick access to pause scans like before with right click?
That's not a good solution because I have to open AVG to see if the scan is even running, then pause it. I run a scan every day at 5 PM and used to see it indicated on the icon when it starts and finishes. When finished, I shut down my computer. If I haven't finished a task at scan time, I could quickly right click, pause, close the application, then continue with the scan. See why I liked the old feature?
