Scan options page

I finally got time to sit down and repair AVG.  To my surprize, it repaired itself.  Everything is working well now.  I'm doing a Deep Scan now.

I understand your concern. In this case, I request you to repair AVG Protection (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG) and reboot your computer once.
After reboot, please check if you can find AVG scan options.

My icon changed from the gear, that lead me to the scan options page, to file or folder scan icon (I think) on the front page beside the scan computer icon.  How do I change this to get it back to the gear icon to get to my scan options page?

I have sent you an email, please follow the email instructions to get in touch with the remote support. They will analyze the issue with AVG and fix it, free of cost.
