Since the update I am experiencing problems with AVG.
Firstly my CPU ran in excess of 90%. Upon advice from AVG I unchecked the Self Protection Unit, which resolved the CPU issue, but I am not sure whether I am fully protected, as I lost ALL my emails in my Outlook inbox. It may be coincidence, but for several years there was no problem.
Now, when I try to attempt a scan, it doesn't scan past 5%. The same files are scanned over and over again.
I removed AVG with the AVG removal tool, after which I installed it again, but it still stays fixed at 5%.
Is there anything that can be done?
