Scan stuck on 6%

Still no email or word back from AVG and it is still not scanning.  I am not confident that I am secure.  When I try to scan it still says AVG is not connected.
I had a 3rd technican online today. The previous technician did a deep scan and escalated problem.  Latest technician was to collect data.  After an hour or so, he signed off and said that information was being uploaded to AVG.  AVG then crashed.  A message came up to say to forward the zip file containing data to the last email I received from AVG.  The file is too large to email.  Can I send by Dropbox?  Meanwhile, AVG keeps crashing and I wonder if it's just easier to cancel my subscription at this stage.  I have spent about 7 hours in total waiting while4 AVG technicians took control of my computer  (during my work hours),  Apparently the info is going to the developers, which doesn't sound as though it is a quick fix.  Please advise

Azharudeen completed diagnostics and it was uploaded to AVG on 14 May.  I sent a further email t Azharudeen on 21st asking for updates.

Please note that AVG cuts out without warning and it's only when I think to click on it to check that I frequently get the Oops this is Enbarrasing message ...  that means that I am intermittendly and without warning without secure virus protection.

I think at this stage and if I there is no word of a solution, it would be safer to cancel my subscription and find a program that works,  Please advise.

AVG crashed my laptop yesterday after a Windows update.  I reinstalled AVG and tried to complete the full scan.  It is stuck on 6% (I tried a few times last night and today).  Scan won't go past the Performance section and then a message appears that says OOPs AVG not available at the moment.  Meanwhile all boxes are ticked and says I am secure and covered.  Any ideas?

Hello Fiona,

This shouldn't happen with AVG.
Let us work together to fix the issue.
Try repair of AVG Internet Security as mentioned (here) and if the issue persists, provide the (screenshot) of error message appeared during scan.
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Mention the version of AVG Internet Security by clicking on "Menu-->About".
Yes I followed all the instructions. Will try remote
Fiona,
I see that you have connected with our AVG remote technician and he is removing AVG Internet Security unlimited product from your PC. He will reinstall AVG product and resolve the issue for you. I appreciate your patience in this matter.

Fiona,
I apologize for the delay in getting a response from senior team. I see that the case has been escalated to Level 3 senior team and they are working on it. They will get back to you via email once they find a resolution for your issue. I appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

Fiona,
We don't have option to receive the file via Dropbox. Hence please upload that file to our FTP server as per the steps mentioned here . If you face any issue in uploading the file, then you can reach our senior remote support team using the email that was sent to you previously.
