Hello Karen. I am sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused. Have you tried to add the printer's IP address to AVG firewall's white list? I would also recommend you to contact the manufacturer support once.
I can't use my epson printer, no matter what settings I change on Windows 7 or AVG.
I've reinstalled the drivers, enabled file and printer sharing (even though I'm using a direct USB connection), and whitelisted it everywhere I can find in the AVG settings. It worked fine before I upgraded to Zen, so I'm not sure what changed.
It just says it "cannot be started" in the popup.
