I installed avg ultimate on my windows 10 PC. I've been scanning with a Brother MFC printer for years, but now it won't connect to my PC when I try to scan something.  I guess there is something within AVG which is blocking it.  I can print fine, just can't scan anything.  How do fix this problem?

We need to check whether AVG program blocking the access of scanner. Please follow the steps in the below article to identify the AVG component that is causing the issue & let us know.

Temporarily disabling AVG AntiVirus protection (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Disable-AVG-Antivirus)

We need to check whether AVG program hindering the entrance of scanner. If (http://liverpoolsmanandvanservice.co.uk/) it's not too much trouble, follow the means in the underneath article to recognize the AVG part that is causing the issue and let us know.
