Scanning and repairing drive (C): stuck at 10% for hours

Having same problem…then trying your steps suggested… end on a loop… piss poor as not happy at all

So everything AVG has worked up to now. I have run all the programs and this one was the very last one to run. It was to check the disk drive and in order to run my systems had to restart. It booted and began to Scan. Its been an hour and has not made it past 10%. How do i get out of it with out pulling the battery? Please help.

Hello Jeffery and Stuart,

Do you mean that, the scan is not skipped when you tap Space bar repeatedly?
Could you restart the PC and try it again?
