I understand the inconvenience.
Please be informed that AVG PC TuneUp disk doctor scan will take few hours to get completed, however it shouldn't get stuck on particular percentage for hours.
You can skip the scanning process by following the steps as mentioned in this article: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Disk-scan-stops-at-27-after-using-AVG-PC-TuneUp .
Once it is skipped, (repair AVG PC TuneUp) and start the scanning after few days.
Keep us informed about the status.

My computer has been stuck on 11% for hours scanning and repairing the c drive. Is this normal?
