Scanning emails

Gary, Are you actually attempting to scan encrypted emails?. If so, Have a look @ this article (http://avgclick.me/EmailScan).

An AVG pop up says AVG cannot scan emails because it doesn't recognize the connection.  When I went to the fix page it said add a new server and edit it's settings.  I don't know what AVG means by edit it's settings.  Any help would be appreciated.
