"Scanning for performance issues" gets stuck at 50%

Hello Joel.
I am sorry for the inconvenience. 
Could you repair AVG TuneUp and verify the issue? 

Right-click the Windows  Start button and select Apps and Features from the menu that appears.
Ensure that Apps & features is selected in the left panel, then click AVG TuneUp, and select Uninstall.
If prompted by the User Account Control dialog for permissions, click Yes.
When the AVG Setup wizard appears, click Repair.
