Scanning issue with computer and printing

Hello,
I am using AVG secure VPN on my computer and computer cannot see my printer and will not transfer files to printed or scan .jpeg. How do I resolve this issue? Is anybody can help? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.!
