Scanning partitions and additional HDDs

Borislav already mentioned where in settings you can find it, if you are referring real time protection it scans all files you are opening.
You can disable AVG download test file place to those locations than enable AVG.
Thanks

Hello paul
To scan certain, file or folder with AVG
It can do it this way

faster version

Open AVG User Interface
to the right of the scan now, click on, the sprocket.
Select an option - "Scan specific files or folders"
In the new window, you can select the desired directory of, C: \ D: \ E :. and so on. tick box. and click below on "Start scan" button
AVG will start scanning process. Similarly, you can make other choices of a file or folder

NO Borislav did not!!! Borislav mentioned how to select specific areas to scan. I have already dont that. What I asked is "How can I confirm that AVG system scan". System scan if case you dont know is when it scans the 'entire hdd' all files/folders automatically. Got it? Im not interested in drilling down to each HDD partition each week when I do an entire system scan.

How can I confirm that AVG system scan is scanning the additional partitions on my HDD and the additional HDD in my computer?

HDD1:
C:\ system
D:
E:
HDD2:
single partition (backup files)

Ths,
pa

If you mean scheduled scan than you can change/check it in advanced settings http://prntscr.com/6g8aso .
There is no "System scan" in AVG please explain in more detail what you mean by that.

my reply:

i find no place in the settings that indicate my other HDDs. your saying that Anti-Malware testfile will test avg to see if its scanning all my hdds. That sounds strange.
