Scanning repairing drive f stuck at 10% How to get out of this?

We will do our best to help you sort it out. Are you able to restart your computer in Normal mode now and also let us know if you were running AVG Antivirus Free scan or AVG TuneUp defragmentation?

Restarted computer as required to begin repair etc drive F. Computer stuck at 10%.
i restarted computer hoping that it would 'work.' It doesn't . Google indicates that this is a frequent problem, but you don't offer help. 
I am very annoyed of course.
please give me back my PC

I was able to restart using F12 to bypass everything. When everything had booted etc., I then shut down, and obtained a notification that the AVG app was loaded, but the close-down continued. I then restarted my computer normally and closed down and all worked correctly - no further notification. I have no further problems with this, other than avoiding the operation that caused the crash.

You may wish to make this very simple procedure available directly on the internet, so that persons with this problem don't have to contact you dorectly - this is a dispendious matter.

I was using only the Tune Up defragmentation (I think!)
