Scheduled Scan Completes in <1 minute

Hi Jim,

Please note that AVG scans are optimized - only files changed from the last scan are scanned. AVG is also scanning new files in background and re-scanning them with new definitions. Therefore the described scenario is possible.

However if you have any suspision then please send us the AVG log files for closer analysis. Please download and run this http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe, briefly describe the situation, include link to this conversation and send it. Specialists will contact you on your e-mail after analysis.

Thanks

I've noticed the past few days that my daily scheduled scan - Windows 7 desktop with 2 TB of disks - completes in about 1 minute. I just ran a full system scan that completed in about 2 hours and found a couple tracking cookies but nothing serious.

Just in case, I also ran malwarebytes to see if it picked up something that might have hijacked AVG scheduled scans.

Anyone else encounter this problem? Any suggestions?
