The recent modification to AVG Internet Security seems to have removed some scan history information that is very important to me. I no longer have reports for individual scan jobs and updates. Those reports have been replaced by a report file that you can choose either to OVERWRITE the previous report file OR (worse yet) APPEND to the growing report file. In either case, there are NO provisions WITHIN the AVG Internet Security application to VIEW these reports!
I hope there are plans to bring that capability back because I find it very difficult to maintain my network of five computers. My computers run many automated functions, days at a time. A daily scan is automatically executed each morning. Sometimes I'm away for several days but because all scan and update reports are kept on each computer, when I return from a trip, I just open the AVG application on each computer and check the reports for any problems encountered during execution.
Any viruses detected and quarantined are listed in the reports and internal links to the quarantined items to take a detailed look, etc.
It appears now that there is NO way to do this. It was very quick and easy to spot a problem on the report header information. Now, I have to open either: the report for the LAST scan executed OR, ALL reports appended in one text file.
In my opinion, this is a SEVERE DOWNGRADE to the application. Does anybody else have this problem? Is it possible that I'm missing some other way that is provided to have this same capability?
