Scheduled Scan takes less time that the same manual scan

Hello Michael. It is based on the scan settings of the AVG program. It is also based on the number of files and their sizes.

The scan settings are exactly the same whether it is a scheduled Whole Computer scan or an unscheduled/manual scan. The scheduled Whole computer scan only takes about 30 minutes or less while the same manually run (unscheduled/manual) whole computer scan takes up to an hour and a half with the same settings done on the same day, back to back.. The only difference between the  two scans is one is scheduled and the other is not. Why the time difference.

I have AVG Antivirus Free. Why is it that the Scheduled Whole Computer Scan doesn't take very long to run, but when I run the Whole Computer Scan manually…it takes forever? Otherwise, I don't have any other issues.
