Click "Uninstall"
Click "Restart computer"
Once you restart your computer, please click the link http://www.avg.com/us-en/download
Thank you.
I could be wrong, but I believe there was just an update. I noticed this problem over the weekend. I had to redo and create a schedule scan. I try to do it daily (530 pm - 630 pm, while I am busy), and its usually done after dinner, taking about an hour. Now, it takes over an hour and a half, and the scan does not get above 25% complete. I have tried the repair method mentioned in some other posts. Am I missing something in the schedule scan settings? This has been my daily scan time for years now, and this change kind of throws a wrench into my day.
We understand your concern. Please contact our Technical support https://support.avg.com/support_tech_chat in assisting you to fix the issue with your account details and installation.
Thank you.
