Scheduled Scan won't run &

Barb, In future please refrain from carrying out multiple topic postings on basically the same subject! You won't obtain an answer to your query any faster!. What happened to error-free AVG of years gone by???  Since installation of AVG 1.181.3.2097, the Zen version of AVG Ultimate, and scheduling a weekly scan, 1) he scheduled scan won't run, 2) a manual scan does not register as the "last scan", and 3) there is an error icon "AVG !" that is unexplained when AVG is opened.
