Thanks your response. Have reinstalled as directed and scheduled scanning seems to be working OK but only when the laptop is plugged in to the mains. Scanning does'nt run when on battery only. Is that correct?
The scheduled scans on my laptop not working. Have gone though the repair process several times but still not working. Also setting up a schedule is problematic and doesn't always work.
Kindly access the Greek Area in the AVG Internet Security and disable the option '"do not run scan while running on battery'
