Scheduled Scans

I have a subscription-not cheap. My old subscrip/version that expired in 2018 I believe had a daily schedule I can scan 2 days a week, 3 days a week, 7 days a week, & I could choose which days I had the freedom to do that. The new interface/subscription that I have had for the past two years does not allow that, the choices are daily, or weekly. & there’s times I can’t even find it even when I’m logged in
there’s also a search box but there’s no submit button, so when I hit the enter button on my keyboard my search keyword just sits there. Why is it everything in this world nowadays when they tell you it’s new & better & it costs more, is never as good , as the previous. I’m so tired of this-i’m gonna call the 800 number & hope I can understand what the person is gonna try & tell me-
but I’d love to hear from you guys call me stupid but I can’t even find where it is in the menu now, do a schedule scan because it’s telling me it hasn’t scanned in 6 days or somesuch. & I thought He had set it for “daily”
I would love to have the old interface it was not near as busy much more basic & the product was great & now with this new product I’ve gotten 2 nasty infections-I was on the phone to AVG for about 90 minutes 10 days ago- :rage::rage:

We're sorry to hear that you are not happy with the latest version user interface.
I'd like to inform that you can still set the schedule scan to run on selected days of the week. You will be asked to select the days after you choose 'Weekly' in the frequency.

Could you share a screenshot (https://bit.ly/30ptlLh) of the search box in AVG user interface that does not work?

The 'Last scan' status on the main dashboard should update when you start a virus scan by clicking on 'Run Smart scan'. If that does not, please repair AVG and verify the issue.
