I would refer to my earlier question relating to the setting of sceduled scans. In addition to the suggestions made by the Support Team, I have also uninstalled and re- installed my AVG but it continues to ignore any other setting than Wednesday at 12.00 noon. In fact it seems to be attempting a full scan every time that I switch on and I am begining to suspect that this time schedule was somehow preinstalled under my product key purchase. Could this be so? It is getting to be a bit of a problem as it is greatly slowing down the boot-up whilst it switches to full scan.
