Hello Avinash,
Ive tried that but when i hover over them nothing happens.
Any other suggestions?
Hello Avinash,
I have removed and reinstalled AVG using the link that was provided in your support email.
It did of course remove the Scheduled Scans that I had previously set up.
Unfortunately the problem remains with not being able to see the … to have the option to delete or amend an existing scheduled scan. All that happens when i hover over the detail line is that it changes to emphasise the entire line, but it does not give me any option to edit or remove it.
I am having EXACTLY the same problem as Ian. I reinstalled AVG and still have the exact same situation that Ian has. I sent a letter to AVG and they sent me the SAME answer as Ian received above. I replied again now so will wait to here what they say.
Quick response on their part–may be because they did not take the time to see this particular string on this forum
Thank you for the information, Ian.
We have escalated your request to next level team. They will analyze and get back to you soon through email.
I can't find a way to delete Custom Scheduled Scans. Can anyone help with this?
Hello Ian,
You do not need to connect the PC in remote. We already escalated this request to next level team. Our senior team will update the status through email.
Please check for it. We really appreciate your patience.
Could you share a screenshot of the schedule scans?
Thank you, Ian.
It is strange that the 3 dots does not appear when you hover the cursor.
Please reinstall AVG to remove the custom scans.
Hello John,
We're sorry for the inconvenience caused.
As we had informed earlier, we've already escalated this concern to our developers team with high priority.
In the meanwhile, if you need delete scheduled scans, follows below steps:
1. Open Finder > in menubar select Go > Go to folder > enter path: /Library/Application Support/AVGAntivirus/config/service-data/scheduled-scans/ and delete all files
2. Open Finder > Applications > Utilities > Activity monitor > Select CPU > and quit process com.avg.service

Thank you for reaching us here.
A summary of your Custom Scan parameters appears on the Scan Options screen. To edit or delete the scan, hover your cursor over the scan details, and click the … icon (three dots), then select Edit Scan or Remove Scan.
