Scheduling AVG Free

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. We will help you to resolve it.

Please update the virus definitions of AVG program & then restart the computer once to check if it helps.

To update : Open AVG Anti-virus - Click on refresh icon beside virus definitions - Restart computer after successful update.

If issue persist, please take screenshot of AVG program which not showing settings icon. Keep us updated.

I am running on Widows 10 Pro on a 64 bit PC. I have been trying to figure out how to schedule scans with AVG Free.  On the web it says "

  1. Click Settings icon (cog) next to Scan Computer.
  2. Click on the green box that says schedule scan ( found next to: “Schedule scans for when you are sleeping or away from your PC” ).
But there is no Setting icon next to Scan Computer.  Can anyone help me please.

Thank you!   Clicking the 3 dots next to "Run Smart Scan" worked.  I was able to get into "Scheduled Scans" and define my scheduled scans.
