Scheduling scan

I apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Please be informed that the schedule scan option is available when you click the gear icon in the bottom of the screen.
You will be able to locate it in the right bottom of the window.
Could you also make sure that the product is activated using this article.

I can't see a gear icon.
how can I make sure it is activated?
It shows up in my billing & account info.

09.03/2019 purchased AVG subscription.  
With my past free AVG I could schedule when I wanted it to scan.
There is no scheduling ability in the toolbar. 
When I open AVG says it hasn't been scanned in 15 days.
WHAT AM I PAYING FOR?
