I can Screen Mirror when I turn off "Hacker Attacks/Enhanced Firewall". All other elements are on. So it looks like that component blocking the laptop connection to the TV.

I know it's been some time since this post, but I am having the same problem as Barry. The only difference is that I have' Internet sharing mode' enabled and still will not connect. If I turn off 'Enhanced firewall' it connects.

We need to locate the exact component of AVG Internet Security which is blocking the screen mirror.
Please disable the individual components of the program and check with the screen mirror.
Click the below link and select "Disable individual AVG components" to show steps for disabling each program components.

I am trying to screen mirror from my laptop to Firestick but it fails. If I turn off AVG Internet Security it works fine. Do I need to change a setting somewhere? Your help most appreciated.

Thanks again. Have enabled this but has made no difference. I can only screen mirror to the Firestick or direct to TV when Enhanced Firewall is turned off.
