Patrick, For removal info have you 'googled' remove Search Protect by Conduit?.. 
No AV product is capable of providing you with 100% protection although AVG are always working 24/7.

AVG would recommend to start with uninstalling all unknown/unused programs and browser addons.

Has anyone had any experience removing Search Protect by Conduit?
Having some challenges here.  Cannot remove it or any of its components.
