Every time an AVG update comes through, I tell it I do not want to use AVG Secure Browser. It is installed anyway, and it takes over file associations, most notably PDF. This is annoying and worrisome, because what other settings is AVG not respecting behind the scenes? What other decisions is it making on my behalf?

We regret for any inconvenience caused. AVG Secure Browser should not get installed if you had opt out. Are you sure that you uncheck the installation of AVG Secure Browser? Please uninstall it from your PC.
Let us know if this happens again so we can collect necessary logs to analyze the root cause.
