Does the issue occur with particular browser or with all? Could you confirm the website in which you are getting error?
Please try re-installing the specific component 'Web shield' and verify the status. To do so, please open AVG Internet Security > Menu > Settings > Troubleshooting > Add/Modify components> Uninstall and reinstall the component.

After installing AVG Ultimate 2019 my browsers stopped working & started giving "Secure Connection failed" error. To make them work again I had to disable "Web Shield".
Upon disabling "Web Shield" AVG software gave a message that my system will vulnerable to web attacks. Now I am in dead lock situation – either don't browse internet and keep web shield on OR disable web shield and get back online.
Am I missing something here since this makes me regret installing AVG in first place since default windows protection would better than this situation.
Could you please provide a way out.
