OK, I'm thinking maybe I should be checking with Mozilla Firefox, my new web browser, instead of AVG. I'm talking about when I'm on a page where I enter personal contact or financial info and, with Internet Explorer at least, I'd look for the padlock to be sure it was a secure page.
Looking for the padlock at the top of the page (indicating it's a secure page) when I'm on web pages asking for personal info, but not finding it. I do NOT like to enter personal info on such pages since I end up getting lots of spam e-mail afterward (the info's open to the internet). Where is the icon using AVG? Thank you.
