Regarding the activation process, the trial programs in your account doesn't require an activation code to activate it. They can be activated by logging into AVG account through the program.
To check if they're activated : Open AVG Secure VPN - My AVG (at top right) - My subscriptions - Check if the renewal date is 2019.5.26.
Open AVG AntiTrack - Settings (in left pane) - Subscription status will be displayed at bottom.

I was offered a free trial for both VPN & AntiTrack and downloaded them both. Can you tell me the difference between the two and if both are needed.? Also, when I received emails on my order confirmations, I was given instructions of how to download and a license number to put in but I already installed them and I wasn't asked to give a license number so I'm confused about that.
