Secure vpn as never worked

I understand the inconvenience.
Please be informed that AVG Secure VPN product doesn't have a license number.
It's activation is by entering AVG my account username and password.
I see that your AVG Secure VPN (1 year subscription) is valid till 9th September 2018.
Does it show Secure VPN as trial or expired?

I have my secure vpn that never worked since I purchased it, tells me that there is no licence #

Please follow activation steps as mentioned in this article: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Activate-AVG-Zen-Protection-Performance-or-Ultimate .
If email address is already displayed then please click on it and select "Leave this network".
Click on connect and then select "Log into existing account" to enter AVG my account username and password.
Once it is entered, wait for 2-3 minutes to check whether the trial message is getting disappeared.
