Usually only once per session near the begining. One just happened at 7:54 PM 24 Dec 2017 as I was typing this When I click on the icon the orange goes away and there is no information provided. I wonder if there is a log that would let me know? Steven
I've noticed the Secure VPN icon flashes orange on the task bar while I am surfing & on twitter. Usually happens once & when I click on the icon it stops. Looked for a reason on support. Can you advise me what this is about? Thanks Steven

Without me being able to see what is happening it is hard to estimate what the situation is.
Usually, when there is any notification in a minimized Window, the Taskbar icon will flash in Orange Color which is a Normal Behavior.

I completely understand that. Please let us know how many times did you encountered the icon flashing in taskbar. Do you encounter the flashing of icon while surfing in any particular browser? This will help us to assist further.

This is a normal behavior as it flashes to notify you that AVG Secure VPN is turned on and is hiding your online activity.
Also, the logs are available under C Drive>Program Files(x86)>AVG>AVG Secure VPN folder. But you cannot view the Logs as the file is encrypted.
