I understand the inconvenience. Have you activated the program with your Myaccount credentials? Please open AVG Internet Security, click on the Home icon at the top left corner of the interface to open AVG management console (formerly known as AVG Zen). On the top right corner of the Zen interface, check if you see the email address on top. If yes, click the email address and follow the below steps.
1. Then select 'Leave this network' option and confirm it by clicking on 'Leave' button.
2. Click Connect at the top-right of the screen, then click Log into an existing account.
3. Type your email address and the password you created for your AVG My Account during the purchase, then click Log In. After connecting the AVG management console to your AVG My Account, your AVG Secure VPN will get activated on your PC.
I purchased AVG Secure VPN, and while it shows up on my account page, my computer is showing that I am using a free trial and will not update to show I've purchased… How do I get my purchase recorded?

If you have Connect option on the top, please click that and enter your Myaccount credentials to activate the program.
