Please enable 'Exclude trusted network' option as well by checking it & check if it helps.

I have just recently installed this product on my PC which uses Windows 7 Home Premium. I am unable to get the VPN to activate automatically, and have to manually turn it on every time I start the PC. On "settings", I have ticked off both green boxes for General, and the boxes on Network Security, except for "Exclude Tusted (private) networks.
