Secure VPN program

I have purchased two subscriptions to the AVG VPN software.  This is because the Secure Internet finds a number of vulnerabilities,  It then tells me that the way to deal with these is to purchase a copy of the Secure VPN program, or try the free month trial version.

I had not double-checked that I already had a subscription, which Is why I have two copies.

If the two subscriptions I already have don't block those vulnerabilities, why would a third copy be on any use at all.  This is either just annoying, or an indication of a fault in the VPN program.

Hello Richard,

We would like to inform you that, if the AVG Secure VPN subscription is activated on the program, then the campaigns to purchase our VPN shouldn't appear.
As per our record, you have AVG Secure VPN - Windows (1 User) (3 Years) subscription valid till 16th October 2021 and AVG Secure VPN - Multi-Device (3 Years) subscription valid till 29th December 2021.
The difference between them is that multi-device can be used on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS devices whereas the other subscription can be used on Windows computer and the active log in can be on one computer at a time.
Unfortunately, we do not have an option to merge these subscriptions.
Let us know whether you would like to cancel the auto renewal for AVG Secure VPN - Windows (1 user) or AVG Secure VPN - Multi-Device subscription?
We would like to know whether you have activated AVG Secure VPN on your computer.
Open AVG Secure VPN window, click on "My AVG–>My Subscriptions" from it and see whether VPN is listed under "Subscriptions active on this PC".
