Security and VPN Issues

I am getting increasingly frustrated with all this! I have logged out and logged in. When I boot up, yet again, I get a Windows message saying that there is no Firewall active. I am having to enable the Windows Firewall and when I open AVG Securiity I still have no advanced Protection! I have to go to troubleshooting and reset to get full protection. I have never had an issue with AVG before and have had it installed for many years with no problem. In addition now I can't get into Firefox and have to use Opera as my Browser. All in all am fed up up with all the AVG add-ons and the price of your products.

Hello Rick,

I understand your concern.

Please run AVG Internet Security repair http://avgclick.me/RepairAVG from your computer control panel and check if that fix the issue.

Regarding AVG Secure VPN, open the program, click on "Settings->General->Check the option "Start AVG Secure VPN when my computer starts"".

This will enable VPN automatically after the computer restart.

VPN ok now. Thanks

Have run Internet Scurity repair to try to activate Full Protection. It doesn't work! Am still only getting Basic when I boot up. I have to go to Settings>Troubleshooting>Reset to gain full protection. This is getting very tedious and annoying!

Please advise.

Thanks your advice.

Have run Internet Security repair as per your advice and problem persists! The only way I can get full security is to reset to factory. Grateful you advise further,

VPN not automatically enabling either.

Are these an XP issue?

When I boot up, only the Basic Protection is active. I have to go to Settings and restore factory to get Full Protection active. Why?

Also I have recently purchased VPN and each time I boot up I have to log in manually to activate, despite having been logged in on my last session. Why?

Not like that, Rick.

You need to activate your AVG Internet Security Unlimited as suggested here:

Please open AVG Secure VPN -> Settings -> General-> Check the option " Automatically Turn ON VPN when the app starts", restart your device and check if it helps.

Rick,

Sorry for the diffuculties, we appreciate your efforts.

Please open AVG Antivirus Free -> My AVG -> My Subscription -> check if you have logged in using your email address and password. If so, log out and log back in to perform reactivation steps.
