I already have installed the AVG "Ultimate" protection on several desktop and laptops working fine.
I have read recently that itwould be much safer to have a VPN than open internet. Is this correct, how should I do this and does AVG ultimate protection work OPK with the VPN
Alan,
Thanks the articles appear to suggest that I use the VPN I may not require my fairly new "Ultimate " AV and Internet security, is this true. If I buy the VPN do I need to continue using the "Ultimate" or will I get any rebate for changing over to the VPN?
Hello James,
Please be informed that the AVG Safe Surf uses VPN service that lets you use the web like a private network. VPN stands for Virtual Private Network and that's exactly what it is. AVG Safe Surf encrypts your data and creates a private connection between your computer and our servers to mask your location.
Whereas the AVG Internet security has the advanced feature of Antivirus, Link Protection, Email Protection, Improved Online Shield, Data Safe, More Frequent Auto-Updates, Anti-Spam and Shopping Protection which protects your PC from the infections.
It is recommended to have bot the subscription on the device to have a better protection of your PC.
Please feel free to contact us for further assistance.
Thank you.
