AVG usually displays notifications related to AVG activity, product updates, warnings, and alerts. You may not receive them if you are running AVG in silent mode.
Open the AVG user interface and go to Menu ▸ Settings .
Ensure General is selected in the left panel, then select Notifications.
Make sure "Use silent mode and turn off all pop-ups, alerts and messages" option is not ticked.
Let us know the version of AVG installed on your PC and since when are you experiencing this issue.
My AVG Security has played up 3 times, in 4 weeks, some of the security features keep being disabled, and I have to keep restarting my computer to make them work, this means if I never checked my AVG every hour or so, I could using my PC without full security, why can't AVG let us no strait away when this happens, so I don't have to keep checking my AVG Internet Security every hour or two, and use my PC for personal use.
John, if you submit the feedback from the program settings, it will reach our developers directly.

John, I did mention the steps earlier.
If you open AVG Internet Security program window, there should be "Menu" option at the top right corner of it.
If you see it, please click on it and select "About" option from it.
You should be able to find "submit feedback" option then.
If you click on it, you should be able to enter your feedback and submit it.

The AVG components shouldn't be disabling automatically in the first place. I'd request to uninstall AVG Internet Security and reinstall it.

My AVG settings have been set exactly as you say ever since I have had AVG, but I have never had any notifications of any sort, and I find it to be very frustrating.

I am not sure what that means, what are the program settings
I am 74 years old, and I don't no much about computers, or program settings, and I am looking for some serious help to solve my problem.
It was reinstaled a few days ago by one of your people from AVG, 2 days later, I had the ame problem again.
yes, I no where to find submit feedback, but I am not sure what I should write, coz I dont no what feedback from the program settings is.
