Security settings

Hello Hazel,

Let us check whether AVG program is the reason behind this.
Firstly, we request you to disable AVG Internet Security as mentioned in this article and check whether you are able to access the banking website.
If yes, open AVG Internet Security program interface and enable all the components of it.
Click on "Menu–>Settings–>Basic Protection–>Web Shield".
Click on the check box that says " Enable HTTPS scanning" and make sure that it is unchecked.
Click on Ok and then try to access the banking website.
Keep us informed about the status.

I have recently installed AVG driver updater, on my Windows 10 pc. I also have AVG antivirus and pc Tune up. I now get messages every time that I try to log in to my online banking account (Cooperative Bank) that the site is unsafe and does not have up to date security settings. It tells me to contact the owner of the site, which is impossible, as I cannot get to any part of it, including its general public face. I am not very good with computers, so don't know where to turn. I thought of doing a system restore, but don't know which of all the drivers that have been updated to do this with. Please help.
