Selective cleaning

Greetings,

We're here to help.
We suggest you refer to this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlname=Use-AVG-TuneUp) to know about AVG TuneUp and how to work with it.
Windows download files typically download software setup files, which accumulate in their Downloads folders. Windows Update also downloads superfluous files to a SoftwareDistribution folder, which wastes even more hard drive space.
Let us know if you still need help.

How-to selectively clean items in the "Performance issues" area.
Example 1: how-to find what is being cleaned and PLEASE provide a selector option for users.
In the System junk area, it says "Win Download Files"  - what does that mean? Is that my download folder or windows update files folder or what. i'm generally happy with removing the idea of cleaning junk, but i DON"T want my download folder touched, so how can i remove that from the list of things cleaned.
Example 2: say i JUST want to fix broken registry items, how do i do that?
Thanks,
~richardw
